White Glove Essentials ("WGE", "we", "our", or "us") operates the White Glove Essentials mobile and web application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information about users of our App.
This App is a business-to-business warehouse management tool designed for authorized staff and designer firm clients of White Glove Essentials. It is not intended for the general public, and accounts are only created by authorized administrators.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information necessary to operate the App and provide our warehouse services.
- Account information: Your full name, email address, phone number, and role within the organization.
- Profile photo: An optional profile picture you may upload to personalize your account.
- Item and inventory data: Photographs of warehouse items, item condition notes, vendor and carrier information, and status updates you submit through the App.
- Project data: Designer firm names, project addresses, project notes, and uploaded manifest documents (PDF files).
- Claims data: Proof-of-loss documents and notes submitted as part of warehouse claims.
- Usage data: Basic diagnostic logs generated by Supabase (our backend provider) to ensure service reliability. These do not identify you personally.
3. Device Permissions
The App requests the following device permissions and uses them solely for the stated purposes:
- Camera Used to scan item tracking tags (barcodes/QR codes) during warehouse intake and to photograph items for condition documentation. The camera is only activated when you explicitly initiate a scan or photo capture action.
- Photo Library Used to allow you to select existing photos from your device when uploading item damage evidence, profile pictures, or claim proof documents. We do not access your photo library without your direct action.
We do not use device permissions for advertising, analytics, or any purpose beyond the core warehouse management features described above.
4. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the warehouse management features of the App.
- To authenticate your identity and enforce role-based access controls.
- To send transactional emails (e.g., account creation notifications) via our email provider, Resend.
- To maintain records of item intake, inspection, and delivery for warehouse operations.
- To generate operational reports for authorized WGE staff and designer clients.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Data Storage & Security
All data is stored securely on Supabase, a managed PostgreSQL cloud database platform. Supabase uses industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to data is enforced through Row Level Security (RLS) policies, ensuring that users and firms can only access their own authorized data.
Photos and documents are stored in Supabase Storage, a secure object storage service. Access to files is controlled by authentication-based policies.
Your data is stored in the United States. If you are located outside the US, please be aware that your information will be transferred to and processed in the US.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and operational data for as long as your account is active or as required to fulfill our warehouse management obligations. If your account is deactivated, your data may be retained for a reasonable period for record-keeping and audit purposes, after which it will be deleted.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Request deletion of your account and associated personal data.

8. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for use by business professionals only and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
